AUM Meditation for Peace | Amsterdam
€ 30,00
Description
Shanti, Madhurya and Team are back in Amsterdam to hold space for you so that you can express and live your emotions, re-connect to your energy & create what you wish for in your life. This specific AUM Meditation is dedicated to Peace, starting by creating awareness and love in our hearts.
Location: Temple of Happiness Condensatorweg 36 1014 AX Amsterdam
After the meditation there will be a hangout so we can all enjoy new and old friendships.
The AUM Meditation is a 1,5 hour social meditation that you do together with others, moving your body and using your voice. It gives you the chance to be total and feel your excitement!
In a safe space you will be guided through 14 stages of different emotions and aspects of being human, going from one polar opposite to another. Experience how liberating expressing anger can be, how healing crying can be, how meaningful it is to love, how laughter can lighten the darkest corners, and how meditation brings peacefulness.
A-U-M stands for Awareness, Understanding and Meditation. It is one of the foundational and most powerful techniques used at the Humaniversity.
This time, we would like to dedicate the AUM Meditation to global Peace. In expressing and accepting our own anger and love, our pains and hopes, we learn to recognize and value these in all human beings. At heart, beyond ideas and believes, we are one, so let us together be “a drop of love in an ocean of pain” (Veeresh).
Timing: 13:45 – 17:15 for first timers (registration and demonstration) 14:45 arrival for experienced AUMies.
To bring: Water bottle and extra t-shirts – it’s physically active and you might sweat!
Shanti and Madhurya (Humaniversity Therapists) will guide you lovingly through this process, with the help of an experienced assistant team.
For any questions contact: [email protected] | 072-5064114
How to get there: The building is 10 minute walk from Sloterdijk Station (tram, train, metro) and few minutes by car from the Ring A10 exit S2. The entrance is at the left side of the building. Parking: Free parking on the weekend
