Humaniversity Therapist Training is a journey that helps you fall in love with yourself and others.
Veeresh created the Therapist Training in 1981, and in 1983 Osho asked him to train “the best therapists in the world”.
First year of training is dedicated to studying yourself, accompanied on this journey by your counselors and your peer group. The format consists of six three-day workshops and a month-long intensive program. You will be undertaking assignments that support your unique personal growth, and helping your fellow trainees with their own commitments. Upon completion you will be able to better understand yourself and your behavior, become more attentive to your needs, feel more grounded in your body and have more space for the love in your heart. You will improve your relating skills and experience beautiful friendships. This year will be a journey of empowerment and self-discovery.
The following article is based on testimonials from participants of Level 1 of the Therapist Training.
The Trainees
They arrived from different backgrounds and professions, different family situations, different upbringings, and with different wounds to heal. After receiving a blast of love & awareness in a month-long workshop called the WOW, they decided to join the first year of the Therapist Training.
Little did they know how much they would change, what a tremendous effect this training would have on their lives, and how strong their bond would become.
After a year of training together, here are some of their insights:
What changed in my life
[I went] from trying to control, and doing everything to not feel vulnerable, to feeling more comfortable with not having the answer all the time.
Frans, age 57
I have opened my heart to love and dared to let people in.
Adda, age 48, Pre-school teacher. – Trainee, Level 1
What improved in my life
Before [this training] I felt stuck. Now, I feel that more is moving again inside of me, I am able to set clearer boundaries and I have better insights into many aspects of my behavior.
Jacob, age 53, Entrepreneur – Trainee, level 1
I feel freer in my body, more sensitive and more open-minded.
Jasmijn
My most important learning
I got to know my direction in life. I got to feel when my heart is open or closed, knowing what I need. I learnt that I am lovable just the way I am.
[I have learned to] go for what is good for me instead of what I usually do, which is to stretch myself to keep everyone happy.
Jasmijn
My most important moment
A few months ago, I shared with the group that I felt isolated and started crying. They all gathered around me and held me in their arms. In that moment, something very profound happened to me, like a wall breaking down. I felt a closeness with the people around me that I don’t remember ever feeling before. That was for me the beginning of my comfort with people.
Ms. S, age 43, Project Manager– Trainee, Level 1
Peer group
The peer group had helped me in my awareness of how I relate. Seeing my patterns, coming from my own constellation. It gave me an insight to my codependency tendencies.

And what’s next?
In the last workshop I was able to take in so much love. I felt safety that was new to me. I could feel that I am ready for Level 2 of the Therapist Training, as I am able to have space next to my own process.
Jasmijn
A unique part of our training is the involvement with the peer group, which supports you along your journey. Through friendship and connection you will discover a strength within yourself to create lasting change. The power of working together manifests through commitment to help one another – we pick each other up when we fall, find each other when we are lost, and remind each other that we are loved. We work, play and celebrate our achievements. Change is difficult, but together we can do it.
The next Therapist Training year starts with the WOW or with the Personal Power workshop with Isha & Jayesh.
