This retreat is perfect for you if:

  • You want to feel more present and alive in your body.
  • You feel stiff and wish to become more flexible.
  • You want to find ways to relax and experience calm.
  • You want to give your body more attention and care.
  • You suffer from stress and tension, whether that comes from an imbalance in the way you move and hold yourself, or from other challenges in your job or daily life.

Yoga supports you to bring awareness to all parts of your body. You will learn about your holding patterns and how to let them go. A combination of breathing, movement and silent meditation helps you to become present and vibrant.

There is no need for any prior yoga experience or knowledge. All levels are welcome.

Retreat Details

The retreat consists of 2 yoga sessions daily (between 1.5 hrs and 2.5 hours).  Each day there will also be extended breaks for reflection, journaling and enjoying Egmond’s beach and cafes.

The yoga sessions are held in the style of Iyengar, where the emphasis lies on slow, accurate movements supported by verbal and physical adjustments. It also includes the use of tools like blocks and belts.

In the morning sessions we will start the day with breathwork, meditation and yoga postures. In the afternoon we focus more on specific areas of your body and learn how to release tension there.

As a yoga teacher with more than 10 years of experience, I look forward to facilitating this retreat for the first time at the Humaniversity, and to welcoming you in this special place.

One of the most important things I learned on the retreat with Naresh was the importance of self-acceptance and spending time with myself, my feelings and my body. Another valuable tool I took with me from this retreat is the ability to create space for myself – Vanessa, yoga student

This retreat is non-residential. For separate food & accommodation packages please inquire with our booking office or using our contact form below.
