Amrit

I love supporting people so they can feel what is most difficult for them to feel, and to see the lightness and joy that follows.

For many years I struggled with alcohol & drug addiction, bulimia and panic attacks. In 2020 I became suicidal and I saw no way out from the abyss until a trusted friend guided me to the Humaniversity, where the patience, love, care and experience of the staff helped me to heal and grow. I felt safe and at home as soon as I walked through the doors of the house and I knew this was the place where I could manifest the changes I so desperately wanted.

The Humaniversity is where I now call home and I want to spend my life giving to others what I have so preciously been given. I aim to welcome anyone into this house who is struggling, or merely curious, with love and compassion.

Amrit (Harry Joiner) has come to the Humaniversity from the UK and has been living and training with us since 2020. He has completed our Addiction Foundation Program and is currently training to become an Humanversity Addiction Specialist. He is also completing the last year of our 4-year Therapist Training.
