Dear Visitor, | ||
We are happy to announce our 2nd Dealing with Trauma training in body-centered psychotherapy at the Humaniversity, November 3-5, 2017 and March 16-18, 2018. We are running this 6 day Intensive at our Traumatherapy Institute in Berlin over the last 8 years. People who work with people benefitted to guide their clients through the world of trauma and attachment related problems. People with their own unresolved issues learned new ways to deal with them and gain more peace and energy. Trauma as a fact of life does not have to be a life sentence. How does this healing process go? More than half of the time we work in 4 - 5 groups of each 3 participants in a soft, gentle and tender way learning to read the language of the body and what makes our nervous system tick and how to discharge blocked energies. In plenum sessions we share our experiences and deepen the theoretical background. The memories and wisdom of the body leads us to release the blocked energies in a slow, carefully calibrated and non-cathartic way, always under the control of the client. By this we avoid overwhelm and re-traumatization. These tools of direct body communication were developed as complimentary and alternative ways to talking cures and emotional release therapies for working with individual clients.
