About Tutorial Day: Being Rational, Being Irrational:
All humans, including bright and competent people, engage in irrational behavior. This is what makes us human. Starting with the neuro-physiological aspects influencing our behavior, we will continue to explore the pros and the cons of being rational and irrational: Being too rational leads to depression and being too irrational can make it difficult to even go shopping for groceries. Personal awareness exercises and a good sense of humor about the human condition will help us appreciate being who we are.
