Liver Flush Wellness Week
Liver Health
Because all the blood from your digestive system first passes through your liver before entering your body, it is the liver that takes the brunt of all the chemicals and heavy foods that you consume. Common foods and drinks that are hard on the liver include dairy products, fried food, black tea, coffee, soft drinks, and alcohol. Other stresses include irregular eating habits, hair spray, chemical cosmetics, prescription drugs and emotional stress.
An overstressed liver produces bile that is toxic or high in cholesterol, leading to the formation of crystals and solid clumps called stones. Those stones block the ducts of your liver and gall bladder, a small organ that collects and concentrates the bile. While you may not have any acute symptoms, the result is that your overall health suffers. Some common signs of a distressed liver are chronic tiredness, mood swings, depression, body aches and digestive problems.
A Natural Cleanse
Cleansing the liver regularly will improve the functioning of the entire body. During the Wellness Week, you will participate in a special liver flush developed by Andreas Moritz that safely and naturally clears stones from the bile ducts, giving your liver and gall bladder a fresh start.
People often report feeling an immediate improvement in their health after undergoing a liver flush. It’s common to feel more rested, relaxed and clearer in mind. Once you’ve started this process, it’s recommended to repeat the liver flush monthly until your liver is free from stones. You can do those subsequent flushes on your own at home. If you’re unable to do liver flushes at home, we’ll arrange an alternative cleanse for you using a special diet and herbal treatments.
The Program
Together with up to seven other people, you will be guided through six days of diet and preparation leading up to the liver flush. This physical detoxification will be supported by a total wellness program that includes colon hydrotherapy, massages, foot baths, emotional healing, yoga exercises and excursions in the beautiful nature of the wild Dutch dunes and coastland.
More and more research shows that the body’s immune system and emotional system can influence each other. Learning to take charge of your emotions and dealing with stress will be an essential component of this week. We will use such techniques as the AUM Meditation and Mental Field Therapy to teach you how to benefit from your emotions rather than feeling sabotaged by them.
At the beginning and end of the week you will receive a personalized health counseling based on a living blood analysis. You will also be given input and practical ideas so that you can continue to improve your physical and emotional health when you return home.
